In today’s world we are bombarded with negative thoughts from many sources including TV, radio, newspapers, and media. These create low vibrations, so we need to start to control and monitor what we fill our minds with.

Here are a few practical tips:

  • Reduce unwanted inputs such as radio, TV, and reading, listening or retelling negative stories
  • Take 5 minutes in the morning to set your mood and mine for the day… silence is golden; but hard when you have children!
  • Keep a list of positive affirmations… that you have set to pop up on your phone, or have them written on sticky notes in places where you can read them often, such as in the car, on the fridge or on the back of the bathroom door
  • Learn to recognise your feelings and just as you would guide a child, guide your feelings in a positive direction. There is a gift in every storm!
  • Be easy on yourself and others! Everyone is trying their best
