I did a technnolgy detox over the Christmas break where I didn’t turn on my computer for a week. Have you ever done this before? I highly recommend it!
I was able to be more present with family and friends and I really noticed how I wasn’t thinking about every special moment being a photo opportunity for Facebook or Instagram but instead was lavishing and enjoying every second of it!
Since my tech detox I have committed to be more conscious to stop filling my ‘down time’ (when the kids are are having their daily siesta) with social media. My down time at the moment needs to be exactly that: resting, yoga, a cup of tea or cleansing the house in preparing for our move up to the NSW northern beaches at the end of this month!
Try doing a tech detox for a day or if you can a month and enjoy!
